  • How long have you been in business and how did you get started?
    Peachy Events started in 2017. After bouncing around the hospitality industry, I slowly fell into weddings specifically. When I worked my first wedding, I knew I no longer had to bounce jobs to find what I wanted to do.
  • How many weddings and events have you done?
    We have over a decade of experience in the wedding industry and limit ourselves to a maximum of 20 weddings per year.
  • How many events will you be working on at the same time (day of and throughout the entire process)?
    Each lead planner only books one wedding each weekend. By doing so, we can give our full attention to our couples and ensure that they do not have to worry about us being occupied elsewhere or being exhausted from a previous event. We work with a rotating roster of 15-20 clients at any given time. However, since each couple is at a different stage of their planning process, there may be moments when we haven't communicated with some of our clients for a while.
  • What happens if you're sick or otherwise unable to be there on the day of our wedding?
    Fortunately, Houston has a strong community mindset, and we have many professional planner friends with their own companies who would be happy to assist.
  • How big is your team? Is it just you day of?
    During your planning period, you will have direct communication with me throughout the entire process. On the day of your event, I will always have at least one assistant with me. Depending on the timeline and logistics of the day, I may bring additional assistants, but we will determine that closer to your event date.
  • How do payments work? Is there a processing fee?
    Once you decide to move forward with our services, we will send you an online invoice. You can pay all your dues electronically, and there will be no processing fees. The initial payment is 20% of your balance. The remaining balance will be broken down into a few more payments and is due at different intervals throughout the planning period. The last payment is due one month prior to the event date.
  • How do you stay organized?
    Everything is in writing and categorized! During our onboarding process, we send an initial email on the best way for us to communicate and stay on the same page.
  • How do you handle stress? What if something is not going according to Plan A on the day of our event?
    We have experienced a lot and are no longer easily rattled by unexpected situations. Even if we become stressed, you will never know or see it in our behavior. In case of a minor problem, we hope that you trust us enough to make executive decisions on your behalf. If there is a more significant issue, we will promptly inform you and provide alternative solutions. Our primary responsibility is to come up with effective solutions to alleviate your stress.
  • Are you willing to step in as our advocate, conveying our visions and desires to pros (or family members) when we can't?
    Absolutely. At the end of the day, you are my client and no one else, regardless of who is making the payments on the invoice. I do make both marrying parties sign the contract to reiterate this point.
  • How do you prefer to communicate?
    When it comes to communication, we encourage the use of email as it allows for easier sorting and searching of messages. However, we understand that some clients may prefer to share their ideas through TikToks and Instagram posts/reels. We always strive to respond promptly to all messages, but in the event that we are unable to do so, we'll provide you with an estimated timeframe for when you can expect a response.
